Throughout the day, Senator Bailey met with various groups regarding issues coming before his committee. He met with local members of the Maryland State Licensed Beverage Association as well as representatives from the Brewers Association of Maryland to discuss legislation relating to the regulation of alcoholic beverages. He also met with a group of St. Mary’s County students who are part of Future Farmers of America who were here as part of their advocacy day to discuss legislation expanding agricultural education in Maryland’s schools. Senator Bailey also welcomed members of his extended family to Annapolis to see the Senate in action and receive a tour of our historic State House.
